Getting To Know Our Team Members: Spotlight On DaLayne Spier!
As you know, here at Eyecare Center of Madison, we’re honored to have you as our valued patient! Our goal is ALWAYS remarkable, one-to-one patient care… Thanks to our amazing team members!
Today, we’d like to tell you a little bit about one of the awesome people who helps make this possible: DaLayne!
We recently put DaLayne in the hot seat and asked her some questions so you can get to know her better…
Tell us about yourself:
I was born in Iowa, but grew up in White, SD. I graduated from Deubrook High School. I’ve been married to Kip for 25 years. We have three great kids – Jordan, Jaynie and Joie and two grandchildren – Lorelai and Wyatt. I began working at the Eyecare Center in March of 1990… 26 years ago!
What’s your favorite part of your job?
There are so many things I like about working at the Eyecare Center! I enjoy helping patients find the right combination of frame and lens for best vision, fit, and style. Our docs & crew are top notch!
Favorite books: The Book of Bright Ideas and A Life of Bright Ideas by Sandra Kring, The Sacred Acre, and of course, anything by Nicholas Sparks.
Favorite music: Songs from the 80’s, but my playlist is all over! It contains Oldie’s, 80’s, country, Disney, musicals and current hits.
Favorite sport/team: I love watching basketball! Naturally the ORR Lady Raiders/Raiders are at the top my list of teams to watch! I also follow the Butler Bulldogs and Jackrabbits. Any team, any level, that has a player I know, I am an automatic fan… even if for just one game! By relative default I also root for the Twins and Vikings!
Fun fact about DaLayne:
Ten years ago I took up running. Even though I am not fast, I have completed several half marathons and have one coming up in June. Also, I love shoes!
We’re So Happy To Have DaLayne As A Member Of Our Team!
